Public service announcement

Everyone is excited about November 30's episode, which is great, but caution to those recording it: it ends at 9:01 pm instead of 9:00 pm. The episode is one minute longer that usual. So reset your VCRs, TiVos, what have you. Mods I hope this OK, I did it for the public good.

definitely a great public service!!!

Thank you Taig. I'll never forget what happened with Dying Changes Everything - most of us got half of the ending H/W scene, which turned out to be the awesome scene in the episode. After that, I started adding 15 minutes to my episode end time. Since then I haven't had any problems.

Actually, the episodes have been one minute longer for awhile, according to my TV schedule. It always says "8:00 - 9:01 p.m." on my cable box, at least since they came back from their three-week break, if not earlier.

No, because if no one else has been noticing it, then it's a good idea to let people know. I always add an extra minute to my recordings in order to make sure I get the preview anyway, because my cable box has this annoying habit of putting a blue banner across the screen that says "Your recording has finished," and it blocks me from seeing the preview if I haven't added that extra minute.

Living in fear, I always set my recorder to tape a few extra minutes over. Naturally, I've got to work Monday night (argh!!), so I'll be at work fretting and praying the cable box behaves and the power doesn't kick off! *sigh*
