To some extent it might be a semantics argument. Do we call it "growth" rather than "change". Great point. Some of the major changes in life are often just accepting one's true nature.

Of course IMHO the show hasn't really done that nice subtle thing with most of the characters. Perhaps a bit with Chase. Cameron was also done well; I even found Wilson oscillating choices in the Tritter arc believable (and heartbreaking). It's more the recent season that, uh.
