I am unsure what to think, as well. With HL's latest little tidbit about how House and Wilson are bound together through better or worse and need each other, I think this either means Wilson is still alive by the finale, or, to be particularly bleak, House follows suit. But I am not sure that would make for an uplifting finale in which fans would be happy for House. I think Hugh Laurie specifically said House's spirit is not broken.
