OMG. Daddy Lucas was win. Rachel is adorable as ever. Drugged!Wilson was the best.

Drugged!Wilson so sooo cute/sexy!!!

So girl was annoying, but she was an inner geek, points there. Lucas was awesome. Cuddy needed to stop leading House on (in her own way), Rachel's adorable, and I cannot wait to see how they deal with Chase/Cameron.

1) Lucas is love.

2) Wilson hardly reacted to him. Shouldn't he be more weirded out?

3) House watching porn to see the guy = me likey

House's metaphorical speech was ADORABLE.

1. CAN WE KEEP MR. SPRINKLES FOREVER? I'm hoping this isn't like S5, where they bring him in and he sizzles with Cuddy, then disappears him for the sake of House/Cuddy. Cuddy/Lucas FTW.

2. WILSON. LEGS.

3. ROMANTIC SUNRISES ARE RANDOM BUT ROMANTIC

4. CHASE/CAMERON AND HOUSE/WILSON PARALLELS MARCH ON

5. THIS SEASON STILL DOESN'T SUCK OH MY GOD

[identity profile] lostwiginity.livejournal.com 2009-11-10 02:13 am (UTC)(link)
Oh, and when Foreman called, and Wilson went "HUUUH!?" into the phone, I thought I'd die.

Is it just me, or was there A LOT of Hilson subtext in this episode? I was watching it with my mum and I had to fight not to giggle like a moron a few times.

[identity profile] alternatealto.livejournal.com 2009-11-10 02:22 am (UTC)(link)

Lucas is much closer to what Cuddy needs than House is.

Wilson is much closer to what House needs than Cuddy is.

They just need to wake up and smell the coffee.

That is all.

[identity profile] alanwolfmoon.livejournal.com 2009-11-10 02:26 am (UTC)(link)
OMG pantless Wilson is even more awesome for the fact that the only way his pants could have been missing is for House to have taken them off. *pictures...nvm, goes to write fic*

MR. SPRINKLES! THANK YOU FOR PUSHING HUDDY OFF FOR LONGER! ALSO THANK YOU FOR BEING THE MOST AWKWARD BUT AMUSING BREAKFAST CONVERSATION EVER!

That breakfast was win. Honestly.

And... I think despite the parts of the episode that are making the Huddy shippers squee, there was actually more real H/W than there was huddy.

And the forgiveness thing, that Wilson realized he really wanted to hear what he had done was okay? Was just beautiful.

also...the writers fail at sticking to their own cannon. If Cuddy went to Michigan, and House went to Hopkins, and met her before he got kicked out, how the hell was he working at the Michigan bookstore when he met her?

RRAAAAAAGGGEEEEEEE

[identity profile] feri-wiccan.livejournal.com 2009-11-10 02:28 am (UTC)(link)
FFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU-

Lucas needs to DIE SERIOUSLY SOMEONE NEEDS TO KILL HIM OFF. CUDDY DOES NOT BELONG WITH HIM. >:E

(Sorry, I also ship Huddy...)

But the Drugged!Wilson was lovely, definitely saw House taking advantage of that in my brain... Also the Hilson moment at the end when Wilson thanked House made me squee.

And I'm pretty sure my entire hall heard me shriek incoherently with my RAGE.

I don't know, I am a little disapointed about this episode. Yes, pantsless!drugged!Wilson was awesome, but most of the stuff seemed to just come out of nowhwere. I was surprised by the speech, but it was also somewhat predictable too, I guess I just expected more too it or something.

And too much time spent on POTW and Cuddy and Huddy.

But the last House/Wilson scene was awesome. And I did like the couple aspects in this ep.

Chase/Cameron
Lucas/Cuddy

Both which only emphasized the absolute fact that House and Wilson are a couple.

ETA: I just rewatched the last few scenes. Better the second time. And I am really glad that House actually acknowledged that he takes advantage of Wilson.

1- H/W comedy WINZ
2- Wilson drugged...AGAIN!
3- Wilson...PANTLESS
4- LUCAS IS BACK!! UWAH! Bye bye Huddy!!
5- Wilson "If there's something I've learned from you, it's to do the right thing and care about it" (something like that) = WILSON I LOVE YOU! Hinting a confession outta House, mebbe? :D!

and 6- HOUSE LOVE CONFESSION! WILSON LOVE CONFESSION! JUST DO IT AT THE SAME TIME, PLSTHX! lol!

Er, seems I'm the only one who isn't in love with this episode.

I have no idea what to think about this episode. The House/Wilson moments were good, and it's always lovely when House makes this huge a gesture for Wilson (or vice versa), but the House/Cuddy was painful for me. Why does House suddenly need to be with Cuddy, and why after all these years is he deciding to 'go for it' in such an OCC manner? It doesn't work for me and it sort of overshadowed all the decent moments of the episode. I get it: House wants Cuddy's ass, he apparently ALWAYS will despite the fact that you never really see him do anything significant for her or the fact that if he DID have her it would fall apart in no time. And Wilson is...wow. How many times do you need to shove them towards each other before you leave it alone?

As for House telling Wilson he's an idiot, uh, Son of a Coma Guy? NOT EXACTLY SIN FREE YOURSELF HOUSE. Other than that his speech was incredibly sweet and I wanted them to hug it out afterward. Also, anytime one of them uses the word 'relationship' I squee a little inside, because what they have is much more than a friendship and it pleases me that they acknowledge it (on some level).

P.S. Drug Wilson more often. It always leads to fun times.

P.S.S. Wilson DOES have nice legs.

P.S.S.S. I like Mr. Sprinkles but I STILL DON'T CARE ABOUT THE BABY PLOT. And I'm not sure if we're supposed to believe House wanted to bond with the kid and cook her pancakes and watch Blues Clues or some shit, but I'm going to try to forget this House 'exists' because if I wanted that I would go read fanfic.

OMG, DOUBLE DATE! That scene with Lucas, Cuddy, House, and Wilson was actually really good. Especially House's random unnecessary look at Wilson during a break in the conversation

[identity profile] dlgr.livejournal.com 2009-11-10 03:00 am (UTC)(link)
is the episode up for download yet?

[identity profile] marzipanbaklava.livejournal.com 2009-11-10 03:21 am (UTC)(link)
I'd just like to note that at the beginning of season five, when Wilson breaks up with House, he says (voice cracking), "If there's one thing I learned from Amber it's that I have to take care of myself." Now he's said to House, "If there's one thing I've learned from you…"

I'm just saying. Coincidental symmetry, or fated romance?

Definitely saw his junk a little.

The whole sub-plot of the conference just seemed like an excuse to play out interactions between House, Cuddy and Wilson in an environment different than the hospital that we might find exciting. I felt like they were trying to push a bit of VERY SPECIAL EPISODE on us. The whole thing just felt like a collection of scenes haphazardly thrown together with a glossy finish.

The House and Cuddy dance (finally they're acknowledging the metaphor) was forced, but I'm glad that it's being put away in a box for the time being. It's just strange that House is now being painted as the one who is pining. I guess it's a good way for TPTB to convince the House/Cuddy fans that House will always love her... *misty soap music*

House's abduction of Wilson's speech was great and needed, to emphasize that Wilson has faults and also does messed-up things he figures are right.

First-thing-in-the-morning hotel room conversations and the breakfast discussion? LOVE. The continual imagery of them as a couple is hard to ignore.

Non H/W related: CHASE TOLD. Finally. Major sad.

Could someone do me a favor? This is gonna sound weird but I need someone to tell me what happened in this episode.

I saw it and everything...but I couldn't hear a word of it. The in-laws were over and they have this horrible habit of talking during tv show (and movies). It's like they time it perfectly whenever someone talks or something important happens, they talk over it! I have some idea of what happened, I'm just pretty sure I missed some important stuff. :(

When there were reports that Wilson would be planning to give a speech in this ep about a controversial subject, some people suggested euthanasia and I thought "no way," because why would they have two major characters kill their patients three episodes apart? Little did I know it was to make a direct comparison of H/W and Cam/Chase. CONCLUSION: House and Wilson's marriage is stronger than Cam and Chase's. Trufact. (Well played, Ms. Egan, well played.)

I still haven't watched the episode, but after reading the comments, I'm pretty sure that I won't be disappointed.

*g*

Okay this was an amzing episode. St. Doris outdid herself on this one. First, Huddy was a side show, so was Lucas and Cuddy. The real deal was the contrast between the relationship between Chase and Cameron and House and Wilson. House loves and is in love with Wilson. He proved it when he was willing to sacrifice his life to save Ambers because his relationship was worth saving at any cost. We were shown how insecure Cameron and Chase feel in their relationship. Chase was afraid to share his burden with Cameron because4 he said she'd have to carry it around for life. Wilson didn't want to tell House because he thought House would mock him. Chase's pre-occupation and guilt only served to increase Cameron's suspicions whereas House went about putting a plan together to protect Wilson. Once again, House was willing to fall on his sword for Wilson and did.
