NEW S8 opener chain fic challenge!

We've been very pleased with the results of our first summer hiatus chain fic challenge over at h_w_chainfic . With the permission of the mods here at house_wilson , we hereby announce a second chain fic challenge starting from an all-new storyline!

Like our first challenge, this will be a massive collaborative fic in which each contributing author writes only a short segment at a time before passing it on to the next person. It starts with this post and goes until the Season 8 opener airs, or for as long as we want to write it!

But suppose that we don't all agree on which direction the story should take? Not a problem! Each story segment could conceivably be followed by more than one option, much like the "Choose Your Own Adventure" books that many of us read as children. So if you don't like the way a particular thread is headed, just go back and write your own continuation of an earlier post.

Completed stories will be posted to house_wilson  with credit given to the individual contributors.

Membership is open; please PM one of the h_w_chainfic  mods: flywoman , menolly_au ,  or jezziejay  (or ask in the comments below) and we will gladly grant you posting access.

We welcome new participants! Also, please feel free to join our community and offer feedback on the individual story contributions even if you don't want to write any yourself.
