I agree that Huddy would never work out and it would end up hurting Cuddy, but I think Wilson, being the eternal optimistic and always believing in the possibility of a change in House, actually thinks it could work out for good. I know, poor delussional Wilson. But my point is that he wouldn't push Huddy if he didn't think there was a chance for it (wrong as he may be), even if he's obviously more concerned for House's happiness than Cuddy's.
