Hmmm... Interesting. I have a male friend - the very one who convinced me to start watching House actually (I know... The shame! I only started watching by the time season 5 had already begun) - whom is not a "shipper" at all of any pairing. He, however, also dislikes Lucas intensely. I actually can't remember the exact reason/words he used to describe why he disliked Lucas, but I seem to recall something about finding Lucas annoying, and something about him not shutting up. This is just his personal opinion, however, so I don't mean offence but am trying to provide a fuller explanation rather than simply, "He hates Lucas".
I actually originally liked Lucas. I previously thought he had some good comic value (and I am aware that "humour" differs from person to person, as well as what one may actually find funny), and thus didn't mind him, even liked him to some extent, but I eventually found him marginally creepy. His "virginity" comment/question to Cuddy pushed the line in my personal opinion, and is when alarm bells starting going off in my head. You could argue the same about House, but my personal thought/understanding (which may not be correct) is that he always does it to deliberately push social boundaries, be blunt, sarcastic, and/or aggravating (sometimes all at once). I dunno... Lucas just seemed "off".
But I'm going waaay off-topic now, my apologies. I am quite interested in the Cuddy-centred episode because I'd like to see how running a hospital is from her point of view (I can only imagine the migraines she must get), the dynamics of everyone else (House and Wilson for example), and hopefully some kickass!take-no-shit-from-anyone!Cuddy <3 as well, reason being that my personal (and as such is not an authority on any other opinion or anyone else) view is that I haven't seen her being that assertive since around about the middle of season 3 (with the exception of when he told House he was fired after he declared to an entire lobby full of people that he'd (or so he'd thought at the time) slept with her). Looking forward to th episode and hopefully a return to some ass-kicking Cuddy! :)
