Thinking about Cuddy-that-was makes me weep. In fact, had Cuddy remained the character she was, I think she would have been a very suitable partner for House. Wilson weeping his heart out as best man at their wedding, heartbroken since Cuddy had managed to make House keep Vicodin and alcohol use under control and thus enhanced his brilliant mind would have been perfect.
