Okay, I've struggled with this one, and I've asked one person to beta it for me, but kind of changed gears this morning and decided to let everyone have a look. It's about as finished as I can get it right now. It's interesting to me that there are parallels (which I won't mention) from this story that correspond to how I've worked out an inner conflict of my own. This ending finally came to me when I figured out how to deal with that conflict. If it seems half-assed, well, maybe I haven't worked it out just right yet... Anyway, I have plently of life left in me, and I can always re-write my own story just as easily as I can re-write David's. (Don't freak; there are more David stories to come - this one is just kind of a pivotal one).

I was cleaning up my computer, dug up an old fanvid and tweaked it some. Based loosely around Merry Little Christmas.  This will probably be my last fanvid for a few weeks, so as to get RL stuff done and save ideas for this summer.  Hope you like!

A bit about the vid:
The basic idea was to find out what was going through House's mind during the overdose. This vid will eventually be part of a much longer vid that has all the movements from this album. Maybe. I dunno. I'm not sure how I feel about it. It was something I started a few months ago, then put in the random stuff folder on my desktop, because I had no idea where to go with it.

The music is the eighth movement from The Mars Volta's De-loused in the Comatorium. A bit of info on the album from Wikipedia:

...it is the hour-long tale of Cerpin Taxt, a man who tries to kill himself by overdosing on morphine. The attempt lands him in a week-long coma during which he experiences visions of humanity and his own psyche. Upon waking, he is dissatisfied with the real world and jumps to his death.

Ok, so Michael Ausiello on tvguide.com has a poll up with "who should House end up with?" Here. Does anyone resent that they never include Wilson? I mean House/Wilson seems to be a massive contingent, and you can't tell me that they don't make a lot of suggestive comments on the show. Oh well.

ETA: Same for the new FOX poll... Here. I mean would it have really killed them to tack on Wilson too?
