This is really good, a nice little continuation. I just watched the ep online and this helped me calm down, though I am still shaking.

The only thing I didn't like about the ep., nothing fic related though, was that they had the head of oncology (Wilson) & hospital administrator (Cuddy) reviving House, while an intensivist (Chase) and er doc (Cameron)stood idly by. I know- dramatic effect, his friends and all that, but it would make more sense, especially since in the previous 'real life' shot, Cameron and Chase had been closer to House than the other two.

I know what you mean. I pretty much had to write this in order to be able to sleep. Glad it helped you too.
I see your point about Chase and Cameron being better candidates for the House resuscitation team, but having participated in a couple of codes, I can say that it's not always who you expect or who's more skilled that steps up in those high pressure situations. I kind of rationalized it by believing Wilson and really Cuddy were the first to take charge of the situation. To paraphrase House of God, the first rule of any code is to take the pulse, yours. Okay, enough rambling.
