I'm so iffy on this season, but this episode just made it slightly more likely that I'll buy the DVD.

I'll refrain from House/Cuddy bashing (hey, their scene was actually funny/cute today!), but...seriously. That pairing has nothing on House and Wilson's relationship and love for each other. Really. This episode proves it.

Fantastic episode! How about that, Fourteen wasn't shoved in our faces, a really interesting patient of the week, and it was really good. See this formula, writers? Follow it!

I want more LLB, and patients like this. This is my show! It's back!

Finally, an episode with lots of squee-worthy H/W, an interesting patient, and minimal Thirteen screentime! Ama-za-zing!

And...was I the only one who thought House was about to kiss Wilson in the elevator at the end?

Oh, definitely not. I was waiting for him to lean over. It would have been the perfect moment.
And I positively agree with the whole "interesting patient" thing. I kept on calling him Mini-House. He was definitely awesome.
And not only was there little 13 screentime, there was little Cuddy screentime too!
This episode was... <3 Perfection

Aagh, I loved it! One of the best episodes. I loved their discussion on the 'social contract'. It's exactly why they gravitate towards each other.

And, as if that wasn't good enough, there was a serious lack of Cuddy and Thirteen.

Also, the Taubner was adorable <3 Taub was the best in this episode.

Some days I wonder if Shore is denying us Hilson sex to piss us off, and he's secretly writing porn of it in a basement somewhere.

I am totally speechless, I don't even know what to say. This episode was not what I expected at all, I guess it was less angsty than I thought it would be. But still OMG, like it was a totally different show after all the 14 and Huddy garbage.

I am still convinced there will be a whole lot more going on with Wilson, at least I hope so.

Now I have to watch this again. But still definitley the best since Birthmarks, maybe even better.

This is how the show should be. Minimal quantities of Huddy+14, which were both kind of cute in this - mostly due to the MODERATION.

And assloads of Hilson, of course.

One of the best episodes. Hardly had a moment I didn't adore. <3 And everything was done RIGHT for once! Even the Huddy!

(And on an off topic - do we know who plays Daniel Wilson in whatever upcoming episode he appears in, if he does?)

I think it's especially meaningful that Wilson offered to bring House with him again the next week, despite the fact that House didn't come in with him. Before, Wilson had a tendency to think, "This is House; if I expect too much of him, I'll only get hurt." Now he's thinking that if he gives House a chance and makes himself more open to House as well, they could...make out in the hallway with Thirteen raising an eyebrow, Taub having an aha moment about their sexualities, and Kutner looking on with a mix of horror and fascination.

I watched the ending again. I have now figured out what I think about this episode.

The best episode of the season by far.

It was not what I expected, less angsty for sure than I thought it would be. I had to watch the last three H/W scenes over again before I really understood it and figured it all out. Thank you St Doris for some glorious sublety after all the melodrama.

House offering to go with Wilson. House getting coffee for Wilson. Wilson waiting for House by the elevator at the end, all absolutely lovely.

I really liked Wilson admitting his personality, being nervous about everything he says to everyone. I sure can relate to that. No wonder I love Wilson so much.

Gosh, I loved this episode, I have to watch the whole thing again, more than a few times.

But it was so awesome to see House all obsessed and worried about Wilson again after so long. And it was wonderful for Wilson to basically admit why he needs House so much.

Did I mention I loved this episode?

I saw the coffee scene, and found it adorable. As well as Wilson waiting for House by the elevator; that was perfect, as if Wilson's willing to be patient with House again. For most of this season it's seemed like they're walking on thin ice with each other, testing their limits. In this one, they've seemed to reach some sort of unsaid agreement on them. It was one of the best episodes I've seen.

I find it odd that in some fandoms the uninentional slash always ends up so much better than their intentional het. As if the writers are trying too hard, or something.

It's episodes like these that renew my love for this show. And it wasn't JUST the House/Wilson moments, it was everything! The patient case was surprisingly intriguing despite my initial worries that this was just going to be another lame attempt to make House connect with the patient, and yes, there was some of that, but it worked (and more importantly, wasn't as annoying as it could have been). God, I adore House and Wilson; how well they know each other (disturbingly well, so much that it's almost impossible for one to lie to the other), how incredibly important they are to each other (so much that they tend to get caught up in one another and OBSESS about one another, especially House), and just how perfect they are for each other. Despite the many issues they have, the fact is they need each other and are so much better with each other around; I'm glad we're finally getting to see that again - how good a friend House can be when Wilson needs it, and how much Wilson trusts House with after he gets over his secretive nature. THEY ARE SO CUTE TOGETHER! Bringing someone to meet your family is such a girlfriend/boyfriend thing, and that House said yes? Adorable. Seriously, adorable beyond WORDS. House wouldn't do that for anyone else.

Also, how awesome is it that Wilson took a job House suggested? It might have been partly because of his brother, but I doubt that was the ONLY reason. He probably didn't want to be apart from his new friend, either. Did anyone DVR it? What was that line? "I thought it was because of my charms" or something? Man, I love this show.

...Plus jealous!House is the best thing EVER. Him punishing Taub for Wilson was a thing of beauty.

Oh, and I'm now convinced Wilson doesn't like monster trucks but only says he does for his bff's benefit. XD ... And because how much cuter does that make it, him putting up with something he dislikes just so he can spend more time with House? Aww, Wilson. (I think I have cavities, now.)

House wouldn't do that for anyone else.

Exactly! And it's a proven fact in canon, even! As he didn't go to Cuddy's baby's jew-thing. (Sorry, I forget what it actually was... didn't pay too much attention, there.)
