A/N: Another practise for the english paper. its 3.35am and ive still got 2 chapters of social studies to go. 

 

There were a couple of things that he stopped pursuing, after realising that he didn’t really want them at all. They were the things most men sought. But he wasn’t one of them.

 A wife. 2.5 children and a dog. A suburban house with a white picket fence around the front garden.

 No need for that. He had settled for something else. No, not settled. More like found. Yes, he had definitely found something better. Much better. He had found House.

 This was his dream. Blue eyes, an acid tongue (rarely directed at him) and old sneakers. Sometimes, he wonders whether this is real. Then he hears the familiar thump of a cane round the next corner and knows that it is.
