A little roleplay anyone?

Right then, I remember someone doing this a few weeks back so I'm figuring its okay.

I'm dieing for a House/Wilson storyline, though finding people available on to play either one of them can sometimes be rather tricky, so I'm going to the source so to speak.
I'm looking for a one on one long term setup, preferable something over a messenger ( I have all of them) or email. I'm not to big on the journal idea, but I'm willing if it means getting a good line.
I will say now that I've been role playing for many many years, though I fell out of the loop about 8 months back due to life and moving so I lost my old partners, etc etc. So I'm a little rusty on post times etc, but I'm getting better at it.
I'm currently playing House in the line that I've got going, and I haven't got the chance to play Wilson, so I guess either or is fine with me.

I play House in a rather active RP (already have a Wilson for that one) and House in another...

Essentially? I play House. LOL You can contact me if you don't find anyone else to play with.

You're not a bother.

Traditionally, roleplaying games are like Dungeons and Dragons or MMORPG's like World of Warcraft. That's in the gamer sense of the term.

Here, "RP" is used as a "PBeM" or "PBI" which stand for "play by e-mail" and "play by internet", with a very different system from something like Dungeons and Dragons. Essentially, this form of "RPG" is like writing a story with someone. If you would like an example of an RP that I am already a part of, check out the community rp_plainsboro. I write the part of House, and my writing partner, wilsonjamese, writes for Wilson.

Or I can provide an example here.

As House, I would write something like:

House sat in his office, carefully lining up a row of colorful jewel cases in a vain effort to ignore Cameron.

At which point, someone playing Cameron would write:

Cameron put her hands on her hips and sighed, "House, are you even listening to me?"

And so on. Usually, posts are more in depth and involved with an actual plot.

This was probably the worst explanation I could have provided. LOL

I'm sorry, I do not. It has been really, really hard to find people to play with and I was lucky to find wilsonjamese so that we could start rp_plainsboro.

No problem! My suggestion is to look for interests with "House" and "RPG".

And hey, it is always fun to do with your friends who share your interests. If you have friends in your native tongue who have an interest in House and enjoy writing, suggest it to them! It is surprisingly good practice for writing and what I attribute my speed to.

Feel free to look through our rules, etc. for ideas on how to set up your own game.

You should start your own community in Spanish! I'm sure there are some other H/W fans out there, that aren't native to the English language, who would appreciate it.

We've been playing with ourselves (ha) since February, so we have a well established in-game time line.
