Title: Shadows of Doubt: A Dark-Wilson House Redux

Author's Note: In this particular 'verse, I've changed one thing about the canon timeline. At the beginning of the story, when House and Wilson first get together, Wilson is already recently divorced from Julie.
Story Warnings: slash, dark Wilson -- specific warnings for each chapter as necessary
Chapter Warnings: violence
Story Summary: A darker version of how canon might have gone, if House and Wilson had entered into a relationship from the start -- and if that relationship took a gradually dark, disturbing turn.
Chapter Summary: Cuddy's finally gets House alone, without Wilson to keep him quiet -- on a flight across the Atlantic that ends up being more eventful than they expected.

She belongs to House_Cuddy and since it's an otp comm (at least that's what their tagline says when you search for House communities), I highly doubt she goes there because she likes their friendship.

I know it's just my opinion, but I disagree.

Yeah, Wilson has been an ass and a jerk and hasn't always been the best friend to House, but I don't think that means he would physically abuse House (a la "Baby Jane") or that House is a damaged man incapable of defending himself. To show one person as all good and the other as evil is too simplistic and misses the mark when it comes to illustrating the complicated relationship between House and Wilson.

Lots of people are multi-shippers, and I can't speak for her, but it seems sort off odd to me that she's written tons of H/W and no H/C... Maybe Huddy isn't her main pairing? Idk, you'd have to ask her.

Yeah, Dark!Wilson is pretty unrealistic when stuck into canon, and I usually prefer it as an AU after 'Wilson's Heart' if House was brain damaged and everyone expects Wilson to care for the shell of his best friend and Wilson ends up losing it a little and abusing House. You know, losing the two people that mean the most to him at once... and he snaps.

Though I like that better, I do read DoS Dark!Wilson cuz I really like Abusive!Wilson for some odd reason, lol.

thanx for speaking up for me a bit, love... you hit the nail on the head, i *am* a multishipper, but definitely more focused on hilson... it just happens to be dark!wilson style hilson :P hehe...

why can't everyone just enjoy the stories they wanna enjoy, scroll past the ones they don't, and leave it at that? then, *everyone's* happy... *sigh*

i joined house_cuddy and house_wilson when i first got into house fandom, because i have an interest in *both* pairings, and figured i'd be writing for both... as it turns out, i've written maybe one or two huddy fics and the rest hilson... but it shouldn't matter what my otp is (it's hilson, btw) or where i'm a member... whether or not a fic belongs here is based on it's actual content, and i've been told by the mods here that any story that portrays hilson as the main focus, even if it was only friendship fic, fits here -- dark!wilson included...

this is less directed at you, soophelia, and more toward the anons -- because your comment seems more directed toward them than like a direct attack on *me* -- but again, if you don't like it, it's *really* easy to scroll down :P lol

Okay, thing is, I really love roleplaying. And Dark!Wilson.

Unfortunately, basically no one shares my love for the darker side of the boy wonder.

So, I was wondering if you'd consider roleplaying with me? Even if you've never done it before, it's pretty simple (especially since you already write fanfic) and insanely fun.

I like the pairing, too, have for years -- but it's very clear in the description what this story is about, and this comm is for stories involving *ANY* version of Hilson, so... if a dark, abusive version of Wilson whom House really shouldn't be with is not your type of Hilson story...
