House Season 8 Premiere Date

According to the House Facebook page, the premiere of season 8 is set for Monday, October 3rd.

Seems like a long time from now, but it makes sense since they aren't even starting to shoot until August. What do you guys think?

When did it normally start the previous years?
I only started watching this year and I've no idea on the date series start over there.
In Greece most new season series start on October anyway so I would have considered this normal but since you said 'makes sense since they don't start filming until August' I guess the date has been pushed back?

Early September, I think. The date would have to be pushed back, I suppose, since they're filming so late.

Good LORD! October? Jeeze. Though, Sarah, I agree with you that it does make sense if they're waiting that long to start filming.

I gotta say, I don't know what they'll do if they lose Jesse too. He's not a primary reason for my viewing, but the show would definitely look ... thinner, I guess. I mean, Cuddy is gone, Olivia Wilde will be around significantly less (apparently). Having Chase bow out as well would leave us . . . Who? Taub, Foreman (ugh-nothing against OE, but I just can't get into Foreman's character), and Wilson?

What they should do if it comes to that is just have House and Wilson move away and start from scratch. :)

I completely agree with you about Jesse. I think it's really strange we haven't heard anything about whether he's signed on yet.

I am not a fan of Jesse or Omar but I think Jesse is little more popular than Omar. I think RSL will be around for 18 episodes. He got the same per episode pay but with fewer episodes. So I figure, I'll be watching 18 episodes.

I'm really not a fan of either, like you. I just think it's interesting we haven't heard about JS's contract.

Also, like you, I'll be watching the eps RSL is in.
