I don't know that they necessarily go right back to the hospital; I don't think so.
It looks like to me that House does get Wilson to stop taking the intense treatment that was as bad or worse than the disease. That seemed an awful over reaction to a Stage II cancer that has a large range of 5 - 20 year survival rate. But maybe A doctor who has had to watch for decades the struggle of so many of his patients, those who survive and those who don't, people he becomes so emotionally involved with, couldn't bear the idea of being one of them. It seems like a panic move, Cure me or Kill me.

Now why they have back packs and seem to be waiting for a bus I do not know. I believe they are both real as I doubt hallucinations bring along luggage.

This arc may be that House is going to have to prepare for the very real possibility of life without Wilson. This time there is no prank or plea he can pull to change that, Wilson's life is going to be shortened for certain, but farther down the road, after the series is over. Wilson has to worry not only about his own mortality but what will happen to House; what will House do to himself. I'm sure Wilson would like to go forward having some confidence that House could go on without him and still be fine because Wilson is always worried about House and has always wanted House to be happy.

That could be another reason Wilson opts for the drastic treatment to save himself to be there for House.

RSL said like Hawkeye and BJ there will be no good-bye between H/W. Well if Wilson died there would have to be a good-bye between them since there is no way House would leave Wilson's side. So I say Wilson lives. Wilson LIVES!

I honestly just think they are on their way to another hospital for treatment. I think Wilson lives but we don't know if it ever reoccurs and for now they'll just live life. I mean of course I want them to confess feelings. maybe 13 just tells them to always be there for each other even through the worst.

I'm not sure why they wouldn't just drive themselves to another hospital; or go by train or plane but its possible. Either that or their just taking off to clear their heads a bit and have some time together before getting back to real life.

I love your idea about 13's involvement being to advise both H & W that despite Wilson having a disease that will shorten his life they can still have their same relationship and enjoy each other and be there for each other; equating that with her relationship with her girlfriend. That makes perfect sense for her.

She now knows this illness doesn't have to ruin everything in fact it makes their relationship more important to both of them than ever. After all Everyone dies; its a fact a life. Nobody can be certain what day will be our last, we never know, its just one of those things upon which we don't dwell.

If that's the case, do you think that maybe the finale will feature Thirteen getting on with her girlfriend and House getting it on with Wilson, and perhaps the "uplifting" part is what you've described? You can't always get what you want (Thirteen not having Huntington's and Wilson not having cancer) but if you try sometimes, you might find, you get what you need? (in this case, enjoying the time they have left?)

I'm really not sure.

Thank you. :)
The more I think about it its about will House go off the deep end because of this or will he be strong and be with Wilson? Its the antithesis of him with Cuddy.

I'm still rooting for going out on a H/W walk thru PPTH.

This arc may be that House is going to have to prepare for the very real possibility of life without Wilson. Yes, I think this is going to be the whole end of the series. House is going to have to come to terms that eventually he will be completely alone. Wilson will die (in the future) and he can not save him. When Wilson left there was always the very real possibility that House could (and did) coax him back. As long as Wilson is alive there is a chance he will come back and be House's best friend, his protector, his anchor. But DEATH can not be beaten, it can be held back, slowed down, but someday Wilson will be gone. I think the lesson House will learn is that Wilson will always be with him in some form. We all have to take the love given us and keep it inside. House has always scoffed at this, at the afterlife in some form, but really it's the love we are given and he has been given Wilson's love and friendship for as long as he can remember and hopefully it will be enough to keep him going. I think Wilson will ask him to remember him, to not do anything drastic, to make his (House's) life count and not throw it away in some fashion. It is the last gift Wilson can give him, the last protective charm he can place upon House's heart.

All throughout series its been established as the most important relationship House has,We have seen him almost lose it when he thought Wilson would leave him, There is NO WAY that makes any rational sense that House would let Wilson go alone ( and eventually possibly die alone).,He would follow.
