...Says the guy who wants us to believe that America's worst actress the emotionally stunted pathologist/whatever she is fell into bed with one quarter of the Scourge of Europe her coworker, got pregnant, had a baby, and STILL isn't with the guy? Seriously? God, I really need to stop obsessing over these "spoilers".
WAIT, imma gonna stop you for a just a minute, BUT imma gonna let you finish: pretty sure that cat got dropped by spells just as the REAL scourge started.
I mean I know he was badass, but you have to admit Spike, Dru & Darla had the BEST European and even Asian scourge. Slayers got bounced, dude; never under the great-forehead, you feel me!
Geez!! This soculd mean anything and it's David Shore so that makes it doubly scary. In eight years, there was only one season finale I truly loved and watched nonstop all summer - WILSON'S HEART. So I'm nore likely to love ep 820 than 821 or 822 even though I desperately want to love all four.
See and I did not like the finale Wilsons Heart .Loved the episode overall but I found it a completely depressing end to season. The best season finale for me was season five,Wilson driving House to Mayfield and the Rolling Stones song playing over the scenes, the obvious comparison to the wedding vows and House/Wilson.that last scene screamed for a hug,It could have even been a series ending scene(with embrace)
I didn't like the ridiculous Huddy at the end but the episode, the House/Wilson and Wilson's heart breaking over and over was amazing. I also liked Both Sides Now but most of it (except) for the H/W just didn't work for me. To me, it was ridiculous for House to halluscinate sex with Cuddy. He had met this woman in college and hadn't given her a second thought after their one night stand. He had fallen in love with Stacy, stayed with her for five years and eventually moved on to hookers, etc. It seemed to me the only person he could not and would not let go of was Wilson who he spotted in a sea of 3000 people. To me that's love.
I've accepted the fact that Wilson is going to die. If it turns out I'm wrong then great. If not at least I'm a little more prepared and haven't got my hopes up only to have DS crush them.
I've accepted that idea, too. Well, actually I was guessing that Wilson doesn't die on screen, but that the series ends with his cancer having a bad prognosis (and him and House leaving PPTH in my best-case scenario). The reason this tweet scares me is that it sounds like the finale may end with some "clever" twist that the writers think is awesome -- instead of going for something strong on the simple human-emotion scale.
DS; " So HH here's my idea, Wilson dies and instead of House losing the will to live, he suddenly starts living his life in a positive way because it's what Wilson would have wanted" HH " Really?" *Pounds Desk in Delight, You are a Brilliant Bastard!
When you write it out like that it's blatanlty obvious something else is happening here, Maybe:
1) House or Wilson receive an organ donation from one or the other. One dies but their parting gift is they've managed to save the others life and that person will carry around a piece of the dead one with them forever? -That would be pretty 'Brilliant Bastard' in execution, especially if house is secretely sick...i guess.... 2) House gets his leg amputated so he can stop living in pain and taking vicodin as a wake up call after Wilson dies?
I mean what can be so brilliant and delightful about a man's only friend and source of comfort in life dying of cancer and leaving him alone? There must be another angle here but what!!!!What I say!!! lol
Is it just me or is Bones written for like 4 year olds? It's so dumbed down it makes my eyes cross. (To make the characters who are supposed to be "smart" look smart? No offense to Bones fans intended.) I caught an episode and felt like I was watching a particularly gory episode of Sesame Street.
So basically, I think anything DS would say would seem "brilliant" to Bones creator.
I think the end scene is Wilson been told by House to finish writing his book with the words "Everyone Dies" Daft i know but some of the story lines have been daft too i.e the kidnapping of a soap star and the taking of Cuddy's thong.
I've always had this theory that the finale will reveal that Wilson was narrating the series, that it's his biography of House... it's looking more unlikely though. It's possible that Wilson will live (they did give him Stage 2!) but decides to live his life differently, thus requiring a change in House's life. The problem with that is that fans can't be expected to believe it after having "people don't change" pounded into our heads for 8 years. Maybe the twist is that Wilson will be fine but HOUSE discovers he's in liver failure or something. If the last 90 secods of the series show House riding off into the sunset with Stacy/Cuddy/Cameron, I will declare cyberwar on David Shore.
I had a horrible thought too that the super secret scene that was filmed after the wrap party involved Cuddy. Because the cast keep saying that the fans will be happy with the end, but which fans? because didn't the writers think that the fans would be happy with "Huddy" but it drove more fans away than gained fans. I sometimes have thought over the course of the series that the writers have been a bit out of sync with the real fans of the show and pandered to the shippers.
I just don't want the final episode to ruin the whole enjoyment of re-watching the entire series over the next coming years just because I know the end is crappy.
