They go to a terrible movie just so they can mock it.

They go see the mirror just so they can remember.

They eat a whole pack of Oreos in a day just so they can go hiking.

They stay up two nights in a row just so they can laugh giddily.

They buy fireworks just so they can watch them glow.

They give each other pills just so watching will hurt a little less.

They stay in a five star hotel just so they can writhe on nice sheets.

They say “I love you” just so the other one can hear.

They leave this world together just so neither of them will have to be alone.
