Anyone of you noticed that when House breaks into Wilson's hotel room (the whole TiVo incient), there's a 1l-bottle of white wine standing on Wilson's table?

Just wondered what that was for. Maybe it's different in New Jersey, but where I live you don't just have bottles of wine standing about. Also, it wasn't part of the plot, and the people who decorate the sets must have some idea about what they put where and why.

I just dunnow what Wilson needs that bottle for. This is bugging me since I saw the episode more than two weeks ago.

And it could just be a general drink that he was sipping while eating his room service or while he watches his TV, or he could be self-medicating his depression.

It's just that you would keep white wine in the fridge normally. I keep thinking about what the set makers were thinking when putting it *there*.

I grant you, it's nothing as excentric as, I dunno, keeping a camel called Sopwith in an apartment, but it does seem unsusual to me.

Well it was probably in the fridge, and he was drinking it when he got paged, and in a hurry thinking all of his patients were exploding or something, rushed over without putting it away.
