No more posts about the Ausiello poll. (Linked because the other posts are being deleted.) It's an Ausiello poll. If you're taking anything from Ausiello's brain seriously ... please, just stop. You'll be so much better off.

It's really awesome that people wrote in and got him to add Wilson to the poll choices. I totally encourage everyone to go and vote a couple of times. But ... think about that. Since you can vote multiple times, all this poll is really measuring is which ship has the most fans with the most time on their hands (or the most fans with the ability to download and install a cheat program). This sort of makes the winners ... losers.

So, please keep the voting discussion here on this post, so that we're not clogging people's flists with the same thing over and over and over and over again. And remember, online polls = not srs bzns. Thanks.

I just wrote a short meta on shipper names. I thought some might be interested. It's all about 'Hilson'.

I know that portmanteaus are embedded (like a parasite) in shipping culture, but I want to know why?

Title: A Few More Drabbles
Author: arhh
Pairing: House and Wilson
Rating: NC-17
Summary: Okay, I lay complete and total blame for these at the feet of <lj user = ace_of_spades6> . She chose them. I needed to write something after spending hours arguing with tech support from Sony and my ISP because I couldn’t get the patch update to download for EverCrack II.   My mind is so far out there after that, I needed some direction LOL.   True drabble format, 100 words, no more, no less.

“Right.”
“And not one of them picked Kansas?”
“What’s your point?"

Now that we can share our work with other comms, it's time for me to share the first of two pieces I did for the [livejournal.com profile] house_bigbang challenge - rendered for the fic "Half Life" by [livejournal.com profile] oldblue:

Title: Setting Him Free
Pairing: House/Wilson
Rating: G
Size: Not-so-great for dialup folks
Warnings: Angst. That's it.
Medium: 3D CGI using Smith-Micro's Poser 7, along with Adobe Photoshop CS3 for touchups and postwork.
Artist's Notes: I dig werewolves. Truly.

I was late getting this submitted because I was hunting for a prop that I felt *had* to be in the artwork to help drive the angst home. I searched Poser forums and communities high and low - and settled on the "low" when it occured to me that there was one place that would definitely have this prop - Renderotica (adult-only so don't click unless you're at least 18!). I'll genuflect to the first response telling me what it was I retrieved from a pr0n-based Poser site. ;-)

Click on the pretty thumbnail for the link at my LJ. :-)
